University of the Third Age Branch in Boleslawiec
The University of the Third Age at the Wroclaw University of Economics, hereinafter referred to as UTW, was established on the basis of Resolution No. 68/2008 of the Senate of the Wroclaw University of Economics dated September 26, 2008 and the Agreement between the Rector of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and the Mayor of the City of Boleslawiec, concluded on October 13, 2007.
UTW is a university-wide organizational unit of the Wroclaw University of Economics. The UTW includes a branch in Wroclaw and a branch in Boleslawiec.
UTW conducts continuing education activities with a focus on economics, culture, art, history, health and gerontological prevention for the benefit of voluntarily affiliated pensioners.
Direct supervision of the UTW’s activities is exercised by the Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs. Student Affairs and Education.
The activities of the UTA Boleslawiec Branch are operationally managed by the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for the UTA. UTW, who is appointed by the Rector on the proposal of the Vice Rector for Business Affairs. He is a member of the Teaching Committee from among the academic staff of the Wroclaw University of Economics.
